MLite-880 Firmware V1.5.2 Update Notes
To further improve the user experience and system stability of the MLite-880, firmware version V1.5.2 brings a series of new features, fixes, and optimizations based on V1.3. This update mainly focuses on display control, recording, CW reception, memory channel operation, menu interaction, and frequency range expansion.
For users who are already using the MLite-880, upgrading to the new firmware can provide a more flexible operating experience and improved overall stability.
New Features
1. Added Manual Brightness Control Mode
Users can adjust the screen brightness according to different usage environments.
Enter the Button 5 menu, then select the first option on the first page: brightness adjustment. Press “1” to switch to manual adjustment mode.

2.Added Duplicate Encoder Switching with the # Button
In addition to the original method of pressing the encoder to adjust the volume, users can now also adjust the volume by pressing the # button.

4. Added the Ability to Listen to Memory Channels in Menu 8
When cycling through memory channels in Menu 8, users can now directly listen to the selected memory channel.
This means users can check saved frequencies while browsing memory channels, without needing to exit the menu or manually re-enter the frequency.
5. Added Direct Memory Channel Number Entry in Menu 8
In Menu8,users can now enter the desired memory channel number directly instead of cycling through channels one by one
6. Added the Ability to Resave Memory Channels in Menu 8
7. Frequency Range Expanded to 165 MHz
This is beyond the stated frequencies; sensitivity above 148 MHz decreases, which is normal.
8. Universal Firmware for All Circuit Design Versions
Fixes and Optimizations
1. Fixed a File Naming Error in the Recorder
After the update, recording files can be saved with more accurate file names, reducing possible file management issues caused by naming errors.
2. Fixed Range Presets Exceeding Their Limits
This update fixes a bug where certain range presets could exceed their defined limits.
3. Fixed Frequency Shift in CW Mode
CW mode is mainly used for receiving Morse code signals and requires accurate frequency control. With this fix, CW reception becomes more precise, improving fine-tuning and weak-signal listening performance.
4. Fixed Receiver Freezing When Playing a 0 KB File
This update fixes an issue where the receiver could freeze when attempting to play a file with a size of 0.
5. Changed Cursor Movement Direction in Menu 7
This optimization is designed to make menu navigation more intuitive and closer to normal user operation habits, reducing the chance of misoperation.
6.Resolves the memory error issue.
